“ Visited with my mum & sister for lunch on May bank holiday Saturday. Got a table straight away. Lovely polite, smiling & friendly staff. We all went for a pizza each and they were lovely. Only slight criticism was the base was a little overcooked...so in places (edges) were very hard. Really beautiful little restaurant with big windows so lovely and bright. Toilet is downstairs so not disabled friendly but it is a listing building....Will I visit again? yes! ”

“ We decided to visit this lovely Italian restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime whilst walking around the beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds. For a drink, I chose a Cappuccino and must say it was excellent. British coffee houses tend to have a problem of overheating coffee which often gives the coffee more of a burnt taste to it. When visiting Italy, this never seems to happen and was happy to find my drink in Pommodoro came out just the way I enjoy it. Due to the time of day, we were looking to have mains only. My Pizza of choice was the Caprino which consisted of goats cheese, olives, sun dried tomatos and mozzarella. Ingredients looked and tasted fresh and were plentiful without overloading the Pizza. The dough had a light outside crisp to it whilst still having a soft texture whilst biting into it and would say, the best Pizza base I've had in the UK. It was slightly larger than my plate as you can see in the picture so was a decent size. My wife and daughter opted for pastas opting for the Vegetariana and Rogu alla Bolognese. Both enjoyed them and the plates looked plentiful and fresh again. The restaurant was light and consisted of a relaxed atmosphere. There is a lovely view of the Abbey gatehouse from the main window from most tables so makes it an enjoyable setting. The waiters were accommodating and friendly and gave a nice service throughout the restaurant. ”
“ For a quiet Monday evening it was a great place to eat and drink. Right on the main square of Bury St edmunds with lovely view of the Abbey. Outside and indoors seating. Food was great and very reasonable value. We enjoyed our evening meal. Will return ”
